I started in accountancy in 2002 qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2008. I was a client manager in a North London firm (which specialised in property) and then an associate partner in a West London firm. I gained a wide exposure to a range of businesses across various disciplines such as audit, financial and management accounting, tax compliance and planning and business consultancy.

The experience gained allowed me to found UHA in 2013 to fulfil the not just straightforward accounting needs but to work closely with clients, developing partnerships and creating friendly, productive working relationships. I believe it is my relationships with clients, the depth of my understanding of their businesses that makes my company special and helps my clients’ businesses manage their financial affairs well.

To ensure that UHA provides the best service for clients we use market-leading software and expertly trained support staff to meet our clients’ needs. Furthermore, we work closely with large accountancy firms including KPMG, Menzies and Harwood Hutton and can engage them for specialist tax advice, if and when required.

I am known as a very focussed person with the ability to thoroughly analyse situations, correctly identify problems and deliver solutions. I have dedicated myself to providing both sincere and thoughtful advice tailored to my clients’ needs. I have been married since 2010 and spend my spare time relaxing with my beautiful, joyous twin girls.

Mohsin has been in the field of accountancy since 2001. He qualified as an accountant with BDO LLP in 2009 performing external audit and business recovery engagements for large corporate businesses. He carried this on to join PwC in 2011 to take on the challenge of working with listed corporate entities.

Prior to BDO, Mohsin worked at 2 smaller practices where he gained vital experience of working with Small and Medium sized entities (SMEs) in addition to Sole Traders. He considers his passion of working with SMEs, hard-working attitude and dedication has been pivotal in his success thus far.

He has excellent personnel providing basic bookkeeping work, as well as providing complete accountancy services focussing on SMEs and Sole Traders using the latest technological advancements within accountancy.

Away from work, Mohsin enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and 2 young kids. He's an avid supporter of Liverpool football club and utilises his free time with swimming and badminton!

Cathy Rouse started her career in Inland Revenue (now HMRC), where she gained an in-depth understanding across direct taxes and the Taxes Management Act. For 16 years she specialised in serious HMRC fraud cases, Employer Compliance and International Taxation for individuals coming to the UK and leaving the UK. She also became one of the UK’s most experienced employer taxation advisors to the public sector.

Cathy has extended her considerable expertise to include trust and estate planning, inheritance tax planning, non-domicile and trust planning (onshore and offshore), and advising on wealth strategy for individuals. Cathy is currently a Director of a Private Client Team of a regional accountancy business.
